Joan's White Chocolate Shard Cake

Now this is a cake I wouldn't mind getting a piece of. Looked so yummy and delicious.

It was a sponge cake soaked in a strawberry syrup with fresh strawberries and custard. The cake was then drizzled over with white chocolate and dressed with white chocolate shards and shavings.

Mia's 18th Birthday Afternnon Tea

Loved brainstorming and creating this gorgeous dessrt buffet for Mia's 18th Birthday Afternoon Tea. The birthday girl's brief was she wanted something to reflect her love for pink (wanted pretty pink not flamingo pink and not over the top pink) and lace, not to grown up but also not childish and most of all she wanted “yummy, tasty” bites.

We went more understated with the decorations and stuck with the silhouette image with lace trimmings and the elegant flower rose balls. The cake was a 2 tiered white choclate and raspberry mudcake with a white chocolate ganache covered in fondant with rose sugar flowers.

We served coconut and raspberry macaroons, petite chocolate cake, chocolate mousse cups, jam tarts, scones, vanilla cupcakes and mini lemon cupcakes.

The candy served where hershey kisses, strawberry & vanilla meringues, strawberry & vanilla marchmallows, pinl ^ white love heart cany, pink & white sugar coated almonds and strawberry lollipops.

Drinks served malibu & pineappple cocktails in the mini milk bottles and a strawberry & cream and turkish apple iced tea.

Ali & Pete's Autumn Wedding

Gorgeous location and gorgeous weather at Merrick's General Store in Merrick for an autumn wedding on the 21st April 2012. 50 chocolate cupcakes and 50 lemon drizzle cupcakes in cupcake skirts. The top cake is chocolate cake with a dark chocolate and milk chocolate ganache.
